Advanced Pathfinder

The Advanced Pathfinder course is undertaken in the Trotternish and Cuillin regions of the Isle of Skye and includes in depth wilderness expedition trailcraft skills including planning, preparation, remote campcraft and intensive navigation techniques. To the adventurer, Skye has it all and much more for throughout the British Isles its magnificent mountains and untamable wilderness have no equal. Throughout the ages, Skye has been known by many names, passed on through generations of invaders, explorers and the exiled who for a moment in time made this land their home, The Isle of Enchantment, The Isle of Legends & Myths, but to those who fall under the spell of Skye, it is simply known as the Island.

" It is not for the faint hearted, but for those who are mature, or prepared to become mature, in their relationship with a landscape that is superior to civilisation, beyond intellectual and cultural conquests, that exists by and in and for itself. It was here before you came, and it will be here after I have gone, receiving the warm west winds, bowing before the terrible winter storms, coping, thrown, surviving"    Angus Peter Campbell
