Jungle Survival course - organised by the UK School aim to be innovative. The first objective is to create a wider understanding of nature and to provide essential knowledge and skills to sustain and save life. The second objective is to have fun learning these skills. On this weekend you will learn how to prepare for, select and use the equipment required to operate safely in a Jungle environment. You will learn and practice navigation, movement on steep ground such as climbing, belaying and abseiling skills, how to administer yourself and your camp, in addition to SOS procedures in the event of injury or becoming lost. The body and mind have a unique ability to cope with challenging and arduous conditions and it is to this end that the school has developed training structured to provide not only the knowledge and skills to overcome such conditions, but also to give confidence to those people for whom the world of adventure is yet to be discovered. There are infinite opportunities and exciting experiences to be found in the world's remote regions, from the Jungles to the deserts and the jungles to the Poles - the School can provide the key to open that door.

The instructors come from a variety of backgrounds, including the British Armed Forces. They are experienced leaders and have spent extended periods of time in extreme climates and remote regions throughout the world.
This training gives you the opportunity to put your basic skills to the test in one of Britain's most scenic and demanding locations. You will undertake navigation and search & rescue exercises in addition to advanced movement in mountains, including climbing and abseiling the "In-Pinn".

This course is a natural progression from the Basic Training although we do accept candidates with basic experience.
